DIN3202 Cast Steel Gate Valve
Gate valve refers to the valve whose closing part (gate) moves along the vertical direction of the center line of the channel. Gate valve is mainly used for cutting in the pipeline. Forged steel gate valve is a widely used valve. It is generally used for cutting devices with a diameter of DN ≥ 50mm, and sometimes gate valve is also used for cutting devices with a small diameter. Gate valve, as a low-level valve, is more common.
Gate valve features:
Good sealing performance, small fluid resistance and certain regulation performance; However, it has large size, complex structure, difficult processing, easy wear of sealing surface, difficult maintenance and long opening and closing time. It is suitable for making large-diameter valves. In addition to steam, oil and other media, it is also suitable for media containing granular solids and high viscosity, as well as valves for venting and low vacuum systems.
